Systematic non-payments for the electric power transmission services of major consumers in the Ulyanovsk region not only cause colossal damage to the electric grid operator, but also threaten the energy security of the entire region.
Currently, the total amount of receivables to the Ulyanovsk branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group), has exceeded 600 million rubles. One of the major debtors still is Ulyanovskenergo, acting as POLR in the region.
The enterprise owes over 545 million rubles for the power transmission services. Ulyanovskvodokanal owes 13 million, RIAR, JSC (Dimitrovgrad) – 54.9 million, Inzenskiye Regional Electric Grids, LLC – 16.5 million rubles. The debts of most defaulters were formed last year. Currently, Ulyanovsk Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group), are getting prepared for the large-scale repair operations.
In the course of the repair campaign this year specialists of Ulyanovsk DG will have to repair thirty-three 35-110 kV substations, 610 transformer substations and 2,445 km of power transmission lines of different voltage class. Reliability of the area power supply depends on the quality and timely implementation of all scheduled activities and, thus, their stable funding, including through regular payments of electricity consumers.
