UTK introduces new tariff on dial-up Internet

From June 1, 2006 "UTK" PJSC introduces new tariff plan Mix in the territory of the Southern federal district. Under the tariff one hour of dial-up Internet will cost 2 rubles for Internet users, for example, in the Volgograd region in addition to 1.4 rubles for each 1 Mb of the received information. Total charges for a customer will make from 2 to 4.2 rubles per Internet hour in addition to 1.3 - 3 rubles for each 1?? of the received information depending on the region.

One can use the tariff plan Mix with the help of UTK’s Internet - cards including  universal service card«Card Number One» by typing the word «mix» before the login.

« The new tariff plan is designed for the users who spend a lot of time in the Internet but do not consume much traffic. At present such customers account for 30% of total Internet - users. By introducing the tariff plan convenient for such users, we expect to enhance loyalty of the existing clients as well as to attract new ones thus considerably increasing the users base », - Nikolay Rik, Director of Marketing and Sales Department of "UTK" PJSC stated.

The tariff plan has already become effective in the Krasnodar, Rostov and Volgograd branches of "Southern Telecommunications Company" PJSC.  The Company  is about to finish its testing in other regions where MIX will start to operate at the end of June.
