The Federal Financial Markets Service (FFMS) registered the additional share issues of North West Telecom on on August 12, 2004. These issues include:

•              74,216,223 common shares (to be swapped for Lensvyaz commons), with the assigned registration number #1-02-00119-?-012D 

•              70,918,086 common shares (to be swapped for Komi Svyaz commons), with the assigned registration number #1-02-00119-?-011D

•              24,740,475 preferred shares of A type (to be swapped for Lensvyaz preferred shares), with the assigned registration number #2-02-00119-?-011D

•              23,638,560 preferred shares of A type (to be swapped for Komi Svyaz preferred shares), with the assigned registration number #2-02-00119-?-012D

The additional shares will be floated after Komi Svyaz and Lensvyaz are delisted from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, i.e. on October 1, 2004, as expected.
