Moscow, 22 May 2006. Tomorrow, Deputy Chairman of Management Board of RAO "UES of Russia" Yakov Urinson will deliver a speech on the Holding Company's key priorities in procurement activities at the Conference "Becoming a Supplier to RAO "UES of Russia".

Another presentation will be made by Vasily Zubakin, Management Board member of RAO "UES of Russia". The presentation will focus on the key areas and prospects for the electricity reform. Alexei Romanov, Head of the Directorate for Organization and Methodology for Competitive Procurement and Standardization of RAO "UES of Russia", will speak about the work being done to organize a common marketplace for goods, works, and services to meet the requirements of energy enterprise.

Representatives of the Holding Company's major entities (WGCs, TGCs, IDCs) in charge of the procurement process will present to sales officers of producers and suppliers of goods, services and technologies, new approaches to building a transparent and efficient procurement system at those companies.

During the event, RAO "UES of Russia" will demonstrate the operation of B2B-Energo, the information and trading system "Market for Goods, Services and Technologies for the Electricity Industry" used by the Holding Company's enterprises in their procurement activities.
