AMS is headed by Director General of OJSC "Holding IDGC"Nikolai Shvets
Two employees of the branch of JSC "IDGC North-West" “Vologdaenergo” participated in the science session "Security problems of grid complex” of the Academy of Military Sciences (AMS), which is headed by Director General of OJSC "Holding IDGC"Nikolai Shvets.

Specialist of sector of monitoring and losses analysis of the Department of electricity transportation of "Vologdaenergo” Vladimir Orlov took part in the event, which took place on 8 April in Moscow.

In the frames of participating in a roundtable dedicated to "Smart grid", he made a report on "Problems and perspectives of distributed generation."
During the discussion at the roundtable, many editors of the leading energy magazines offered to publish a scientific article in which Vladimir Orlov explained his vision for smart grid development in Russia in a concrete example of  "Vologdaenergo”. It will be the first step for solving the problem, which is very important for all Russia.

Maria Udaltsova, the psychologist of psycho physiological personnel reliability group of «Vologdaenergo” also took part in the event. As a member of the working group, she will participate in creating of a system of psycho physiological support of operational, technical and repair staff of energy companies.
