KAMAZ-Metallurgy Inc. gives much of its attention to increasing export volumes. For many years China has used to be among its old and stable partners to whom KAMAZ-Metallurgy Inc. has been delivering crankshafts manufactured at the Company’s Forging Plant.

Recently, there took place a meeting of the partners at which they negotiated price issues. As at the turn of 2004 there took place price increase of rolled metal in Russia, the partners have now to revise old prices too.

Currently the Forging plant is delivering to China diesel engine crankshafts. Volumes of delivery make about 25,000 units per year. Besides, the plant is planning to manufacture a new type of crankshafts for its Chinese partner soon. As per their joint contract, KAMAZ-Metallurgy Inc. is to deliver a sample batch of such a new crankshaft by May 1, 2004.
