Experts of Nizhnekamskneftekhim Inc continue work in implementing an integrated management system based on R/3 software product.

It is called for rendering prompt decisions on the issues of financial and economic block, and management over pivotal business processes of the Company. Today, the engineering complex is practically ready for productive operation of the system.

Implementation of the novel management system proceeds in a step-by-step manner according to the program. Last December, preparation of the engineering complex for productive operation of the system was completed. The work is being mainly performed with our own manpower.

Much volume of work has been started in preparing guideline and reference information on stocks of materials and capital equipment, and assessment of “tolling” patterns. There is still allocation of workplaces in the warehouses for stock-taking of inventory holding flows at each Plant.

To orient the Company's activities to market demands is one of the principal objectives in implementing an R/3-based management system. Tentatively in January 2005, shipment and sales of products are supposed to be switched to the new program. The major task for the year 2004 is to bring all users in the system, and productive exploitation of its functions.
