Krasnodar, 16th March 2007:Southern Telecommunications Company (“UTK”) [(RTS: KUBN, KUBNP; ?ICEX: UTEL, UTELP; ADR OTC: STJSY, KUE FRA)],the principal fixed-line telecommunications provider for Russia’s Southern Federal District, reports that today its top management met with representatives and analysts of Russian and foreign investment funds, banks, financial and management companies. Forty representatives of the investment community including from investment financial companies “Metropol”, “Solid”, “Diamond Age” (UK), “FIM” (Finland) took part in the meeting.
The Management of "Southern Telecommunications Company" PJSC made a presentation of the Company’s preliminary 2006 results and development prospect. UTK’s CEO Alexander Andreev answered all the questions on the Company’s financial activities and business development.
