The plan of the expenses for the repair of the equipment, buildings and constructions for 2008 in Chuvashenergo amounts to RUR 188.712 million including for the repair of municipal electric grids accepted for the lease of around RUR 11.3 million. For the comparison: last year repairs were actually made for a total of RUR 173.879 million including the repair of municipal electric grids accepted for the lease for a total of RUR 10.764 million.

This year the powermen plan to repair about 983 km of overhead lines (OL) 0.4-10 kilovolt and 248 km of OL 35-110 kilovolt hiring contractor organizations; 152 transformer substations (TS) 10/0.4 kilovolt will be repaired in the course of the repairs campaign 2008. Besides, the employees of Chuvashenergo, JSC will make a complex repair of 14 substations of 110/35/10/6 kilovolt. The repairs program of the main equipment for 2008 also stipulates the clearance of the routes off trees on the area of 129.4 hectare.

The next large-scale repairs campaign begins in May. Nevertheless repair works are already being made in production departments of Chuvashenergo branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC. With the expenses plan for the 1st quarter of 2008 – RUR 18.67 million the expected fulfilling will amount to RUR 20.377 million or 109 %.

A repairs campaign is performed annually for the support of a due reliability level of the grid equipment, the prevention of faults and breakdowns, the provision of the continuous power supply of all consumers and for the preparation to the autumn and winter period to come. The result of successful repair works for the power company is the receipt of the preparedness certificate to passing the autumn and winter loads maximum.
