All-wheel drive KAMAZ-4911 EXTREME off-road truck has been announced as the best Russian vehicle at the annual “Best Truck of the Year” contest. The jury consisting of well-known Russian sports journalists, who are professional drivers themselves, has unanimously ranked the vehicle on the top position. The contest was held under the aegis of MEDIA GLOBE International Company. Apart from nomination of the best domestic and foreign truck and bus, the jury has also announced the winner of a new “Best Joint Venture” nomination for successful development of the Russian market.

The official ceremony of rewarding of winners took place during the 5th “Commercial Vehicle-2004” International Exhibition in Moscow. Representatives of about 350 Russian and foreign companies specializing in transport and special construction vehicles and also federal mass media reporters attended it.

By the way, KAMAZ Inc. became the winner of one more nomination at the exhibition. A NefAZ suburban bus was announced the “Best Bus of the Year”. The bus is assembled by NefAZ Inc., which is a subsidiary of KAMAZ Inc.
