With the startup of the first PS Plant's production facility in summer 2003, “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC began transition from monomer output to polymer material production.

By the last year-end, the Plant reached 80% of the design capacity having commercialized within that period 4 grades of GPPS and 2 of HIPS. Per the results of the year 2003, the Plant produced 18,648 tons of products, shipped 16,500 tons PS to consumers, including 1600 tons for export. Products sold amount to over RUR 400 MM.

At present, the Plant produces up to 150 tons of valuable polymer every day. Within the current year four months, the output totaled 15,200 tons of products, 16,000 tons was sold including 6000 tons for export.
