Territorial network organizations operate on an entirely different level. Another problem is the so-called ownerless networks, operation of which ,in fact, is not provided  at all "- argue in Holding IDGC.

Only in the IDGC North-West  area of responsibility are 1656 ownerless facilities .

In 2011, under the consolidation of power grid assets program, in the investment program of IDGC North-West is planned acquisition amounting to 35.700 million rubles.

Among the assets to be acquired are 21.6 km of transmission lines and complete transformer substation with capacity 4.1 MVA in the Novgorod region, land for energy facilities in Karelia and Komi Republic.

For its part, Holding IDGC also supports such an initiative and proposes the consolidation of all distribution networks.
