On 16th December, 2004, the ALROSA Supervisory Board held its meeting in Moscow under the chairmanship of Alexei Kudrin, RF Minister of Finance and Chairman of the ALROSA Supervisory Board.
  The Board resolved to:
1. Pursuant to Article 13.3.1 of the Charter of ALROSA Co. Ltd. appoint beginning from January 16, 2005, Yegor A. BORISOV as First Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board to act on a permanent basis.
  Relieve Vladimir T. KALITIN of his post as President of  ALROSA Co. Ltd. from 16th  December 2004.
  Charge Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board V. KALITIN to continue to act in his current capacity as Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board on a permanent basis.
Pursuant to Article 14.7 of the Charter of ALROSA Co. Ltd. appoint beginning from    16th December, 2004, Alexander O. NICHIPORUK as President of ALROSA Co. Ltd., relieving him of his former post as First Vice President of ALROSA.
Agree with the nomination by President Nichiporuk of Ernst B. Beryozkin for First Vice President of ALROSA and appoint him to this post beginning from 1 January 2005.
