For 9 months of 2004 volume of export sales of GAZ products to CIS and distant foreign countries has come to 28, 470 vehicles and autokits of all model range being manufactured

The basic automotive sales markets of GAZ vehicles are Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia and other CIS countries; 19, 528 units of vehicles and autokits were supplied to these countries within 9 months of this year. For the same period of time foreign distant countries have been supplied with 8, 942 vehicles, 8, 643 units of which have been manufactured for Iraq.
Contracts with South Africa (50 buses-taxi), Nigeria (55 buses and 'Sobol' vehicles), Cuba ( 37 light and middle tonnage vehicles) were fulfilled successfully.
The company is planning actively to develop supplies to markets of Eastern and Western Europe: Yugoslavia, Estonia, Bulgaria, Germany. Within 9 months 'GAZ' supplied 91 vehicles to these countries.
Geography of GAZ vehicles supply is steadily expanding. Besides above mentioned countries, supplies were made to Algeria, Iran, Angola, Guinea, Indonesia, India, Korea, Laos, Mongolia, Turkey.
In July, 2004 The JSC 'GAZ' was called The Best Exporter of The Automotive Industry by The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of The Russian Federation for excellent foreign-economic activity performance.
