Today Gazprom’s Headquarters has hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee and Murtaza Rakhimov, President of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The parties addressed the implementation of a Cooperation Agreement between Gazprom and Bashkortostan, placing a focus on natural gas supply to the Republic over 2006 and related matters.

Gazprom and the Republic of Bashkortostan entered into the five-year Cooperation Agreement in June 2003.
Last year Gazprom provided the Republic with some 12 bcm of gas and roughly the same amount is slated for this year.
The natural gas infrastructure of the Republic of Bashkortostan is developed by 76.2 per cent of maximum demand, including by 89.7 per cent in cities, towns & localities and 53.6 per cent in rural area. The identical Russia-averaged parameters account for 53, 60 and 34.7 per cent, respectively.
Gas deliveries to the Republic over 2005 have been paid up at 99.8 per cent.
