On September 11, as part of Russia-Israel cooperation programme in the area of construction and homebuilding, LSR Group presented its flagship project ZILART as an example of the company’s innovative approach to large-scale real estate development projects. 

Russian and Israeli delegation was headed by Mikhail Men, Russia’s Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities and Yoav Galant, Israel’s Minister of Construction. The honored guests, accompanied by Andrey Molchanov, CEO of LSR Group, and Ivan Romanov, Managing Director of LSR. Real Estate – Moscow, visited the company’s sales office and ZILART construction site.

“Today, we have presented a very interesting large-scale real estate development project to our Israeli colleagues,” told Mikhail Men. “I have no doubts that LSR Group will provide advanced site improvements and create state-of-the art urban environment here. Nowadays, people choose to live in the places where public space is organized in a smart and modern way and where the urban environment is well-developed”.

“I am delighted with the modern principles of housing construction implemented in ZILART,” added Yoav Galant. “Obviously this project can compete with any foreign analogues.”

“This year, we are to complete first buildings and a park with an area of more than 10 ha, which was created together with Jerry van Eyck, famous American landscape architect,” summed up Andrey Molchanov. “In ZILART, we not only create high-quality housing and infrastructure but also ensure the project’s cultural value – the project implies construction of the museum complex “Hermitage-Moscow”, drama and puppet theaters and other cultural facilities”.

The total area of ZILART amounts to more than 1.5 mln sqm. More than 25 thousand people will reside in the residential complex, about 30 thousand people will be employed in local businesses. The first stage of ZILART occupies an area of 65 ha and consists of public areas, residential blocks, as well as social, cultural, educational and entertainment facilities designed in the uniform architectural style. Residential buildings will be located in a cozy and calm area, commercial and recreation zones will be placed near the pedestrian boulevard that is comparable in size to Montparnasse in Paris or La Rambla in Barcelona. Areas for sport and leisure will be located along the embankment and in the vast public park occupying 20 ha.
