OJSC Rudas (a subsidiary of LSR Group) has become one of the Russia’s TOP 100 companies in ecology and environmental management. Due to its environmentally friendly business, the company was included into TOP 100 companies in Russia. Ecology and environmental management.

The winners were announced at the 5th National Conference “Ecology and production.The future economic models of environmental protection”. Rudas was awarded the Golden medal “European Quality”, the winner’s certificate, and Alexey Yushkov, the company’s managing director, won the medal “Environmentalist of the Year”.
 This is an annual award held by the Independent Public Council supported by the Council of Federation, Russian State Duma, Chamber of Industry and Commerce of RF, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of RF and International Academy of Quality.
OJSC Rudas has become one of the Russia’s most environmentally friendly businesses as the company is constantly implementing and upgrading the measures to preserve the environment as well as its environmental management systems.  In particular, Rudas uses cutting-edge technologies of sand extraction, reclaims quarries to restore fertile soil and conducts mining and environmental monitoring as well as laboratory monitoring of atmospheric emissions.
To enhance the processes and improve environmental efficiency, OJSC Rudas undergoes environmental audits, and is implementing environmental management system (EMS).
