COMSTAR-UTS constructed corporate network for Toyota Bank |

April 25, 2008, Moscow: COMSTAR – United TeleSystems JSC (COMSTAR-UTS, LSE: CMST), the leading supplier of integrated telecommunication solutions in Russia and the CIS finished construction of Virtual Private Network (VPN) for CJSC Toyota Bank in Moscow.
In accordance with the contract between JSC COMSTAR-UTS and CJSC Toyota Bank, the operator, using resources of its business unit COMSTAR-Moscow, has implemented the project on construction of corporate telecom network which joints 18 branches of the bank all over the territory of Moscow.
In addition to that, using resources of the company’s own New Generation Network (NGN), COMSTAR-UTS established a broadband allocated Internet access channel over IP/MPLS technology in the central office and also rendered digital telephony services.
«In September 2007 Toyota Bank started its operating activity and thereby we had a task concerning jointing of all the branches of the bank on the basis of single corporate telecom network, - President of JSC Toyota Bank Olaf Naitssh said. – We referred to COMSTAR-UTS as an operator with all the required recourses and great experience in the sphere of modern telecoms services provision to companies with multidivisional structure, including bank sector. The VPN was launched from the ground up. All the objectives of the project were accomplished in full ».
Thanks to network infrastructure created by COMSTAR-UTS the full range of required telecoms services is available to all the branches of the bank. In the course of designing and construction of VPN the high requirements for its security level were taken into consideration. The required security level was achieved by means of connection of all the branches of the bank to the network via COMSTAR-UTS’s fiber-optic communication lines (FOCL) and also by means of channels redundancy system for provision of continuity of work.
Applied by COMSTAR-UTS secure communications organization scheme allows to scale up the network easily, increase its capacity and range of the provided services in accordance with the client’s territorial expansion and business requirements. |
