The Oil and Gas Professional Expertise Board, authorized LUKOIL's wholly owned subsidiary, LUKOIL-INFORM, to appraise professional expertise of operators of oil, gas and gas condensate production units (competence tiers 4 and 5), and operators of oil and gas process units (tiers 3 and 4).

As any other company, qualified to perform the Board's professional expertise independent rating, LUKOIL-INFORM conducted fundraising activities, selected experts, suitably qualified for appraisal, from among LUKOIL Group's employees and developed appraisal techniques.   

Performed for the industry for the first time ever, the appraisal is intended both to increase professional expertise of oil and gas workers and improve the quality of the industry's human capital.
