Lenta opens new hypermarket in Moscow

St. Petersburg, Russia; 4 September 2019– Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of its new hypermarket in Moscow.

The new store is Lenta compact hypermarket located at 123 Leninsky avenue, Moscow. The store has a total area of 5,920 sq.m with 3,535 sq.m of selling space and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A broad assortment of products of 17,700 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of Moscow. The store has 320 parking spaces and 19 cash registers including 6 self-checkout lanes. The property is owned by Lenta.

Product assortment of the hypermarket includes Lenta’s private labels and federal product ranges alongside local produce.

The new opening is Lenta’s fourth hypermarket launch in 2019 and brings the total number of Lenta stores to 246 hypermarkets in 88 cities across Russia and 129 supermarkets in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Siberia, Urals and the Central region.
