Oleg Budargin, Rosseti’s General Director, made a working visit to Vladimir region to meet its Governor Svetlana Orlova and inspect main overhead lines of 220 kW voltage type. He also met with management and staff of “Vladimirenergo” Branch, the subsidiary of PJSC “Interregional Distribution Grid Company of the Center and Volga Region”.
Budargin and Orlova discussed the development of the power grid in Vladimir region.
The parties exchanged views on prospects for creating a single call canter for all categories of consumers wishing to make the connection to Vladimirenergo power grids. This move will also help to expand a range of customer services.
The meeting focused on cooperation between the power grid and regional enterprises producing for power grid. They noted that the strengthening of cooperation would contribute to the national energy security due to development of the home manufactured electrical equipment according to up-to-date standards, quality and reliability requirements.
The parties reached agreement to finalize a draft project between Rosseti and the region.
During the meeting at Vladimirenergo Budargin debriefed the performance results of the enterprise over the past year and plans for the year ahead.
The head of Rosseti stressed that reliable energy supplies should remain high priority for the Vladimir region and the power grid of the country as a whole. All available funds should be designed to re-equip, modernize and develop the power system. Power engineers' efforts should be aimed at minimizing blackout risks and maximising response to all emergency situations.
In conclusion Budargin recalled that Rosseti had announced 2017 to be the year of energy management. He insisted that his colleagues make every possible effort to reduce commercial and technological energy losses in the region.
