ROSSETI

September 23, 2019

Alexander Novak, Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov and Pavel Livinskiy charted the development path of Ingushetia industry

Alexander Novak, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, held a meeting in Magas on the functioning and development of the electric power industry of the Republic of Ingushetia, demanding that the concerned parties strictly observe all the provisions of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 534 dated April 30, 2018 in all stipulated areas.

“It is important to reform all spheres of housing services and utilities, so that all settlements with electric power industry entities, including payments by the population, is brought to 100% in the comfortable conditions created for the subjects of the North Caucasus Federal District. It is necessary to solve  problems of losses and consumption standards in all sectors. Only in this way is it possible to move forward on the issues of infrastructure modernization for the further development of the region,” said Alexander Novak.

Pavel Livinskiy, Director General of Rosseti, reported on a set of measures developed by the holding to bring the indicators of the region’s electric grid complex to performance standard. However, as noted by the Head of the Group of Companies, by itself, the actions taken by power engineers to solve accumulated problems are not enough.

Rosseti is allocating 1.1 billion RUB of dividends for loss control, is ready to maintain the current state of the power system carrying out repair works, to rent municipal and abandoned networks with their further transfer to the balance for debt. But about 12 billion rubles are required for a rapid and comprehensive approach to problems. And since they cannot be compensated for by the tariff growth, support for the federal budget is needed,” said Pavel Livinskiy.

Alexander Novak supported the proposal to develop a project for the complete modernization of the electric networks of the Republic of Ingushetia.

“I demand from the Government of Ingushetia and other interested organizations the prompt adoption of the necessary decisions on all issues discussed today. Everyone should assume that the further development of the Republic and the implementation of regional programs in the framework of national projects under the May Decree of President V. V. Putin directly depend on the state of the electric grid economy,” emphasized Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov, the Head of the region.
