Alexander Novak, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, has held a three-party meeting with Ramzan Kadyrov, head of the Chechen Republic, and Pavel Livinskiy, General Director of Rosseti.
Basic commitments:
- To implement the loss reduction program. By the end of 2024, power engineers will install over 200,000 smart metering devices, refit 10-0.4 kV networks, and renew the special vehicle fleet. The project was launched in Argun, with about 2,000 smart metering devices already installed.
- To improve the payment discipline jointly with the region’s administration. Following the results of the nine-month period of 2020, the average payment rate is 81%.
Rosseti invested almost RUB 5 billion in the Republic in 2015-2019. Several major projects have been completed – the power generation by the Grozny TPP is ensured (360 MW), three supply centers have been put into operation (212 MW). Moreover, the first North Caucasus digital 110 kV substation project was launched, with the substation opened today.
