Actual performance of the plan of capital investments for 6 months equaled 113 %.

Over RUR 801 million 176 thousand was spent within the limits of the investment program of IDGC of the North-West in the first half of the year 2008 that is the 133 % performance at the target of RUR 707,465 thousand rubles.

Actual commissioning of fixed capital in the first 6 months of the year was RUR 590 million 951 thousand or 99 % of the planned volume. From the beginning of the year, this allowed to commission in the grid complex of the region transmission lines of 160.1 km and 11.5 MVA of transformer capacity (at the plan of 154.9 km and 8.1 MVA accordingly).
The experts of the investments and capital construction department of the operational company consider that performance over the target for commissioning of power capacities is mainly caused by commissioning of technological connection objects.
 
Thus, in Novgorodenergo and Pskovenergo branches, 4.44 km of power lines and 2.07 MVA of transformer capacity were commissioned above the annual target; in Arkhenergo and Komienergo, performance over the target was 2.27 km of power lines and 0.63 MVA of transformer capacity. Vologdaenergo executed reconstruction of the Rodina overhead 0.4 kV electric power line in the Nikolsky district of the region which was planned to be repaired in 2009.

In the first half of the year, Pskov powermen considerably exceeded targets of capital expenditure. For the period under report, performance of the plan on this line is fixed in the branch on the level of 176 %. It became possible owing to early execution by the Sevzapenergo contract organization of reconstruction of Zavelichie, and also performance of additional works on technological connection.

Realization of the investment program of IDGC of the North-West of 2008 proceeds according to the approved plans. A number of the commissioned objects are under the special control of the Investments And Capital Construction Department. Among them is reconstruction of the thermal and electric power supply system of Solovetsky settlement in the Arkhangelsk region, technological connection of Ladva substation for Russian Railways, JSC in the Republic of Kareliya.

The zone of the responsibility of Kolenergo include the following priority tasks: reconstruction of substation-69 in Polyarnye Zori city, construction of 150/35/6 kV Severnaya substation, maintenance of external electric power supply of Kashkarantsy, Varzuga, Olenitsa settlements of the Tersky coast of the Murmansk region.

The Republic of Komi has the following most significant objects - construction of OL 110 kV Voy-Vozh-Pomozdino from the substation of 110/35/6 kV Voy-Vozh.
As for the Novgorod region, IDGC of the North-West pays special attention here to construction of OL 110 at Progress substation with the organization of an additional cell at Progress substation (Borovichi) for needs of Baltnefteprovod, Ltd.
