Moscow, November 6, 2002 - The common shares of OAO RBC Information Systems (RTS: RBCI; MICEX: RU14RBCI4001), a media and IT company, have been included on the MICEX listing. This decision was made by the Exchange Council of the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX) at a meeting on October 31, 2002. According to the regulations on securities listing, placement and circulation, the third and fourth issues of RBC's common registered non-documentary shares were included on the second-level listing.
According to expert opinion, RBC shares meet all the requirements set by MICEX authorities for securities listing. This means that RBC stocks are seen as a reliable market instrument with a stable trade volume.
Among other issuers included on the second-level listing along with RBC are such well-known companies as OAO Aeroflot Airlines, OAO YUKOS, the energy utility OAO Samaraenergo and OAO Moscow City Telephone Network.
This listing of RBC's stocks proves the existing opinion of investors about the outlooks for the development of the company. In October, the Expert magazine rated OAO RBC Information Systems in the top five among 30 companies that investors are optimistic about. On this list, RBC left behind such companies as Mobile TeleSystems, Wimm Bill Dann and others.
