Moscow, November 4, 2002 - RBC Information Systems (RTS: RBCI; MICEX: RU14RBCI4001) is pleased to present a new design of www.rbc.ru. The aim of the redesigning is to make the resource more efficient for advertisers, increase the number of options for displaying advertisements, and simplify access to information for visitors to the resource. The company expects the introduction of the new design to increase RBC's online advertising revenues by 20 percent.
Advantages for advertisers
- Larger banners. The size of the banner in the upper left corner has been increased by almost twofold (from 234x60 pixels to 234x100 pixels). Additionally, advertising space of 120x160 pixels, called a 'skyscraper,' has been introduced on page 2 of each news section. Banners of lager size will allow drawing more attention to information displayed there.
- Standardization of the sizes of advertisements. The main banners fit the size of every page and can be displayed on any of them.
- Common style of all pages of the resource and an increase in the space for advertising. All pages of www.rbc.ru share one corporate style now, which, in addition to other advantages, allows for a substantial increase in advertising space. At the same time the general style of the resource has not changed.
