As part of XXII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Rosneft and Moscow Region signed an agreement on cooperation. The document was signed by Igor Sechin, Chief Executive Officer of Rosneft Oil Company and Andrey Vorobyov, Governor of Moscow Region.

The Agreement is aimed at implementing comprehensive programs of social and economic development of Moscow Region, establishing favorable conditions for running business in the region.

The cooperation envisages the development of the Company’s retail chain in the Moscow Region to meet the demand of the region in the main types of motor fuels, including the construction of gas filling stations with the creation of an appropriate infrastructure.

The Company also intends to participate in the development of road and transport infrastructure in the region, namely in establishing multifunctional roadside service zones.

Apart from that, the Agreement is aimed at resolving the urgent issues of power supply and power efficiency improvement, promotion of research, development and innovation, small and middle-size business participation in the projects in the region.
