North-West Telecom was named the winner of the 7th open annual competition of annual reports by the Krasnodar Territory Administration in the nomination “Transport and Communications Industrial Report”. The competition is held annually as part of the Sochi-2010 International Investment Forum, with N.W.Telecom becoming its winner for the second time running.
The competition is sponsored by the Krasnodar Territory Administration, with contribution by the Russian Institute of Directors (RID) and the Federal Service for Financial Markets (FSFM.) The Harvard Business Review magazine, Deutsche Berse AG, ALTHAUS Consulting, and Expert RA were the partners of the competition.
In all, 75 companies participated in the competition. On the competition panel list were representatives of the leading information and professional players of Russia’s financial market, such as RTS stock exchange, MICEX stock exchange, Russian Institute of Directors, Expert-RA rating agency, RCB publishing house, KPMG auditing company, and officials of the Krasnodar Territory Administration.
Commented Vladimir Verbitsky, first vice-director of NP RID and deputy chairman of the competition’s expert board, “the quality of preparation of the competition, professional knowledge of the expert board members, and attention to the competition by leading Russian companies allow to consider it one of the four federal annual report competitions.”
