Q1, 2014, the personnel of Chuvashenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC, repaired five distribution stations and nine 10 kV standby transformers, 10 kV power transmission lines (0.36 km) and seven 110 kV power transformers, etc. In addition, power specialists removed vegetation from 17.5 ha of rights-of-way corridors for power transmission lines. In 2014, Chuvashenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC, plans to repair 967 km of power transmission lines of all voltage classes and 373 transformer substations of 10/6/0.4 kV and to overhaul 25 substations of 110/35/10/6 kV. The repair program also involves vegetation control measures covering 582.2 ha of rights-of-way. The repair operations will contribute to high operational reliability of the electric grid equipment, uninterrupted power supply to consumers residing in the Chuvash Republic, and will prevent any failures of electrical installations. The sweeping repair campaign will be launched this May.
