The main works on repair of the electric power equipment on the objects of "Chuvashenergo", a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (enters into JSC Rosseti group of companies) come to its end. During the current year power engineers of the branch repaired 676 km of 0,4-10 kV air-lines (AL) and 292 km of 35-110 kV air lines. In addition, power engineers repaired 373 6-10/0,4 kV transformer substations, carried out capital repairs of 25 110/35/6-10 kV substations . In particular, 3 302 supports of power lines, 200 km of electric wires, 11 100 insulators were replaced. Besides, works on replacement of metal traverse, bearing of support, etc. were performed. Clearing and expansion of power line routes from the wood and shrubby vegetation on the area of 596 hectares were carried out. For this purpose the modern mulcherny equipment which significantly allows to accelerate clearing process from wood and shrubby vegetation was involved in each production office of Chuvashenergo branch and to solve a problem of felling remains’ utilization. The crushed wood pulp mixes up with the top layer of earth and doesn't cause damage of ecology. Thus all cycle of clearing, crushing and removal of wood spill is carried out for one operation. Besides, power engineers apply the buldoser equipment, allowing to work at almost impassable boggy sites. The total amount of expenses for the repair company of 2014 in branch made 200,5 million rubles. Performance of works within the planned repair campaign is one of the most important stages of preparation for the autumn winter to the period (AWP). From September 24 to September 26 there will take place total check of readiness of Chuvashenergo branch for autumn and winter period.
