Samara distribution grids will repair twenty-six 35–110 kV substations this month

Samara Distribution Grids (SDG), a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (subsidiary of Rosseti, PJSC), embarked upon scheduled overhaul of 35–110 kV substations. This month, SDG is to repair 26 power facilities. These operations are covered by the annual repair program.
The campaign to be launched in March includes the repair of switches, current transformers, line-isolating switches, high-voltage bushings, bus isolating switches, surge arresters and 6–10 kV busbar sections. SDG will fix power transformers installed at 11 power facilities out of 26. This list includes the following substations: 110 kV Gorod-1 (Syzran urban district), 110 kV Remzavod (Zhigulyovsk urban district), 110 kV Khryashchevka (Stavropol district), 110 kV Neftegorskaya-1, 2 (Neftegorsk district of the Samara region), 110 kV Ovoshchnaya (Volzhski district), 110 kV Zasamarskaya (Kuybyshev district, Samara urban district), and 110 kV Snisski (Bezenchuksky district), etc. The works at 26 substations will be completed by the end of the month.
SDG will launch mass repair operations at the end of the autumn and winter season.
The annual series of measures aimed at the repair and replacement of electrical equipment is a priority for Samara Distribution Grids. Quality and full implementation of the repair program enables to ensure regular operation of power facilities, reduce technical obsolescence of equipment and provide reliable and quality power supply to consumers.
