Chuvashenergo Branch of PJSC IDGC of Volga, Member of Rosseti Group, completed construction of new streets in towns and cities of 18 districts of the Chuvash Republic in accordance with the investment program approved in 2017.
To supply electricity to new streets in rural settlements, 0.4-10 kV electric power transmission lines were built. Their total length as part of fixed assets is 62.967 km. The total transformer capacity is 3749 MVA. This number includes technological connection under the contract obligations - 60895 km of 0.4-10 kV electric power transmission lines, and 3429 MVA of transformer capacity. In 2018 the corrected volume stands at 79.174 km of 10-0.4 kV EPTLs, and 3.14 KVA of transformer capacity. Construction of new power transmission lines is one of the most important investment goals for Chuvashenergo. The company seeks to improve reliability of power supply to consumers, ensuring uninterrupted operation of all power grid equipment, and creating a reserve of capacities for further economic growth of the Chuvash Republic.
