Based on the results of seven months of 2018, 2073 applications were received by the customer communication department (CCD) of “Ulyanovsk Distribution Grids”, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti). The applications for technological connection of facilities to the branch grids were the most often applications that the power engineers had to consider. The number of such applications amounted to 1169. Also, consumers applied to the branch CCD for issues related to the extension and modification of the technical conditions (77 requests), renewal of the technological connection with the change of ownership and provision of information on technological connection (196 and 81 applications respectively). Besides, 108 consumers have taken part in the annual questionnaire aimed at assessment of the branch technological connection activities. In order to keep permanent feedback with both connected and prospective consumers, personal monthly receptions of citizens by the executive officers are still taking place in the branch and in all of its production offices. Meetings with consumers are organized both directly in the company’s offices in Ulyanovsk, Dimitrovgrad, Barysh and Novospasskoye, and on site with the management staff and their authorized persons visiting all districts of the region. During personal appointments the residents of the region may ask any questions of interest and to receive detailed clarifications and consultation. For example, in Dimitrovgradskoye PO, the management board represented by the Director General Evgeny Bespalov held a meeting with the residents of Kurlan village, Melekessky district, concerning the connection of street lighting in the locality. Also, the CCD received a request from a resident of Ulyanovsk to provide information on the location of the power grid cable on the territory of the land for security during construction.
