Implementation of the investment program-2019 has begun in the branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (included in the Rosseti Group). More than 1.8 billion rubles will be allocated for the modernization of power facilities, construction and utility connection to the grids, as well as digitalization of the energy complex of the Samara region this year. The investment program of Samara Distribution Grids was developed in accordance with the needs of the region and is aimed both at improving the reliability and quality of power supply and at creating opportunities for connecting new consumers.

The most important point of the investment program of the current year was the digitalization of the power grid complex, the implementation of which is carried out in accordance with the concept of “Digital Transformation 2030” developed by PJSC ROSSETI. Introduction of digital technologies is aimed at improving the quality of power supply and reducing the time to blackout consumers, introducing advanced technologies, equipment and digital solutions into the operation of the power grid complex, meeting not only current, but prospective consumers' needs.

The key investment objects will be 110 kV Bezymyanka-3 substations in the Samara urban district, 110 kV ASC-2 (second stage of reconstruction) in Alekseevsky district of the Samara region and 110 kV Olgino Substation in Bezenchuksky district. Replacement of the main equipment will be performed onsite – switchboards 10,35 kV and 110 kV, power transformers, systems of dispatching management, etc.
