Power engineers of the Samara Grids Branch of Rosseti Volga Public Joint-Stock Company provide technological connection of the water intake to power grids in the village of Orlovka, Samara Oblast. The reconstruction of the facility is being carried out within the framework of the "Clean Water" state program of the region of the "Ecology" national project.

The "Clean Water" state program is a set of measures, the implementation of which should lead to the provision of the population with clean water. The approved program of Samara Oblast includes a list of facilities, which was formed on the basis of the results of the assessment of the state of centralized water supply systems, recommendations of the Rospotrebnadzor Administration for Samara Oblast, as well as measures developed by the local authorities of Samara Oblast to improve the quality of drinking water supply to the population. One of the objects of the program was a water intake in the village of Orlovka – the replacement and construction of water supply networks, installation of a treatment station began.

In accordance with the technological connection project, the water intake will be connected to the grids of the Samara Branch of Rosseti Volga in the second category and two power points – from 110 kV Sadovaya substation and 110 kV Nadezhdino substation. As part of the work, the construction of two 10 kV overhead power lines and two transformer substations will be carried out. All work is planned to be completed in 2021.

The technological connection to power grids is one of the main activity directions of Rosseti Volga.
