The main task of this event is to practice actions in case of emergency with joint efforts of operation staff of the SHN Branch central boiler-house and 211 Fire Station of the 21 SFS (State Fire Service) brigade of MES of Russia in KR (Komi Republic).

Within the trainings they imitated an emergency which resulted in transformer inflammation. The operation boiler staff had to cut off power from the equipment, inform the managers about the event, call up firemen, evacuate the boiler staff if possible.

In connection with this situation SFS brigade of MES of Russia in KR arrived to the place of fire. Its aim was to liquidate the fire. Due to accurate and competent job of the Shift supervisor of the boiler-house, staff evacuation and transformers de-energizing had been executed before the firemen came, what helped to save time.

According to the Supervisor of the central boiler-house of OJSC “TGC-9” Branch “Syktyvkar Heating Networks” Sergey Ershov, in the course of the trainings all the departments – control center, repair department, electrotechnical department – were able to practice interaction with each other and related organizations in case of emergency.

The Chief of Fire Station Boris Bogoslovsky was satisfied with the results of the joint trainings.
