With this opening, Lenta expands its network in the Volga Region to 26 hypermarkets in 18 cities
St-Petersburg, Russia; 30 December, 2015 – Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of its second hypermarket in Ufa. The new store is a Lenta compact format hypermarket located at 25 Bakalinskaya str., Ufa, in Ultra City Mall shopping centre. The store has a total area of 7,500 sq.m, with 4,039 sq.m of selling space and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A broad product assortment of 16,000 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of Ufa and includes Lenta’s private label and federal product ranges alongside local produce. The store has 500 parking spaces and 22 cash registers. The property is owned by Lenta. The opening in Ufa is Lenta’s thirty-first hypermarket opening in 2015 and brings the total number of Lenta stores to 139 hypermarkets in 68 cities across Russia and 32 supermarkets in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
