The Boards of Directors’ meeting is in progress at the Gazprom Headquarters.

The Board examined and took into consideration information related to Gazprom’s participation in subsidiaries and affiliated companies.

Gazprom is a dynamically developing international energy company. Under the influence of external and internal factors Gazprom initiates the process for changing the business activity stipulating the management structure optimization of separate assets and business directions as well as acquisition of the separate groups of assets.

Gazprom follows the strategic directions on consolidation of the Company’s assets regarding Gazprom core business activity. Gazprom consolidates the core business asset holding structures owned by the Gazprom Group due to the Gazprom participating interest increase. Additionally, Gazprom purposefully works on increasing Gazprom participating interest in the core business assets due to additional asset acquisition.

As for non-core business activity the Company purposefully works on selling non-core business assets pursuant to the Strategy on Property Management approved by the Gazprom Board of Directors in 2002.
