Minister of Industry and Energy of the Chuvash Republic had a working visit to the Chuvashenergo branch

During the working meeting, the Head of the Ministry of Industry and Energy of Chuvashia Evgeny Gerasimov and the Director of the Chuvashenergo Branch of Rosseti Volga, PJSC Dmitry Ivanov discussed topical issues of preparation for the upcoming autumn-winter maximum load, the implementation of repair work and the investment program, the implementation of the concept of "Digital Transformation 2030" and others.

The Head of the Chuvashenergo Branch said that about 451 million rubles were allocated for the implementation of the maintenance and repair program in 2020. During the repair campaign, power engineers repaired 43 110/35/6-10 kV substations, 499 6-10/0.4 kV transformer substations, more than 590 km of overhead lines of all voltage classes, cleared more than 500 hectares of power transmission lines. The volume of financing of the branch investment program for 2020 exceeds 691 million rubles.

A significant part of the funds was directed to the implementation of the digital transformation project developed by Rosseti, PJSC. It includes the creation of a unified fully automated infrastructure management system and changes in business processes, and also provides for the use of advanced innovative equipment at the facilities of the power grid complex. In addition, Chuvashenergo is investing more than 100 million rubles in the development of a modern system of commercial electricity metering. In particular, by the end of the year, the specialists of the Chuvashenergo Branch plan to install almost 5,000 smart meters.

Power engineers are under special control to ensure uninterrupted power supply to medical institutions equipped with artificial lung ventilation devices, focused on receiving patients with COVID-19. The Chuvashenergo Branch has provided additional reliability for key healthcare facilities in the Republic that are not provided or insufficiently provided with backup power supplies.

In turn, the Minister of Industry and Energy of the Chuvash Republic Yevgeny Gerasimov thanked power engineers for the fruitful work and stressed that the reliability of power supply to consumers in Chuvashia is one of the most important components of the stable development of the region.
