Moscow Cable Networks Implemented Repair Program in First Month 2011

To provide reliable and failure-free electric energy supply to consumers living in the capital, Moscow Cable Networks, a branch of JSC “MOESK” regularly implement electric grid property objects repair.
Over January 2010, more than RUR 86 million were invested in repair campaign realization.
During this time, power engineers of MCN have repaired electric equipment at 88 transformer and distributive substations compared with 83 planned. In accordance with the plan, 12 transformers, 5.38 km of 0.4-10 kV cable lines compared with 5.1 km planned, have been repaired. Complex repair of 2.71 km of overhead electric energy transmission lines has been carried out, compared with 2 km planned parameter including 12 transmission lines of 0.4-10 kV power.
Main aim of such measures is improvement of consumers electric energy supply reliability.
