Consumers' debts for electricity transmission services in the Ulyanovsk region exceeded 1 billion rubles

The current debts of the largest consumers of electricity transmission services to the Ulyanovsk branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC amounts to 1,094.4 million rubles. Enough as it is, the critical situation related to the systematic violation of the payment discipline, gets only worse in the period of maximum load.

The principal amount of 1,052.2 million rubles accounts for the debt of the POLR of the region — Ulyanovskenergo, JSC. Also among the debtors remain: UMUP Ulyanovskvodokanal with the debt of 20.1 million rubles, IRES, LLC — 3.8 million rubles, MUP Ochag — 3.2 million rubles, MUP Zhilservice of the Veshkaymsky District Municipal Unit — 2.2 million rubles, Kometa, JSC — 7.8 million rubles, Everest, LLC — 346,000 rubles, UK Zhilkomservis, LLC — 735,000 rubles.

Most of the enterprises-debtors are resource supplying organizations, to which, without detriment to their own bona fide consumers, it is impossible to apply the most effective retaliatory measure in the fight against non-payments — the restriction of power supply. Abusing their position, debtors are not about to fulfill the obligations required under the service agreement.

Despite the regular appeals to the management of indebted companies, the constant claim-related activities and involving public authorities in solving the problem of the payment discipline, the debt actually remained unchanged for two years, and a list of the debtors continues to grow together with the amount of overdue receivables.
