Aeroflot starts new flight to Minsk

Today Aeroflot-Russian Airlines has started regular flights to the capital of Belarus Republic. Three daily flights are to be made on the route Moscow-Minsk-Moscow.

This route reflects the development of business relations between Russia and Belarus and it is expected to increase passenger carriages. The schedule is made for business passengers and provides business trips between two capitals within a day.

All the flights are made from Sheremetyevo-1 Airport in Moscow and Minsk-1 Airport in Belarus. Morning flight arrival in Minsk provides passengers with an opportunity to change flights of Aeroflot international and Russian routes.

Minsk is the seventh CIS capital Aeroflot makes flights to.

Information:

Aeroflot cooperates with Belavia Company since 1994. Besides Code-Sharing Agreement signed between Aeroflot and Belavia in 2000 there is an agreement on mutual declaration of transportation documents (Interline). On the whole there are 21 Code-Sharing Agreements of Aeroflot with airline companies of the world. In October 2001 Aeroflot representative office was established in Minsk.

Aeroflot and Belavia leaders are confident about the development of partnership between air carriers – the main way of increasing service quality and expenses reduction. The leading airline companies of the world adhere to this policy. Consolidation ideas become more and more prevailing among CIS air carriers.

Aeroflot and Belavia strife for cooperation meets the ideas of strengthening friendship between Russia and Belarus, economic relations between the two sister nations. Civil aviation plays an important social part in integration process of the Commonwealth.
