Results of Alexey Miller and Vladimir Tikhonov’s working meeting

A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Gazprom’s Management Committee Chairman, and Vladimir Tikhonov, Head of the Ivanovo Region’s Administration, was held today at Gazprom’s Headquarters.

The meeting discussed implementation of the Cooperation Agreement concluded between Gazprom and the Ivanovo Region’s Administration.

The parties considered gas deliveries to the Ivanovo Region, upgrading of the Regional gas distribution stations as well as the possibility of handing over a range of gas distribution facilities to Gazprom.

As of 1 July 2003, natural gas supplies to the Ivanovo Region accounted for 64%.

The Ivanovo Region’s Administration contracted Promgaz to devise a General Scheme of gas deliveries to be piped to the Region. In 2003 Promgaz completed activities in 3 Regional districts while another 6 ones are targeted for this year.

In 2003, under the Program on Gas Deliveries to the RF Regions, Gazprom allotted RUR 50 million for constructing gas distribution networks in the Ivanovo Region. Gazprom’s Investment Program for 2004 envisages RUR 39.55 million being channeled for constructing gas distribution networks in the Region and RUR 58.08 million for upgrading the Ivanovo-1 gas distribution station.

The Ivanovo Region’s consumers’ debt to Gazprom for the gas supplied, which totaled RUR 443.6 million, as of 1 January 1999, has lately been repaid. The Regional Administration has fully fulfilled its obligations in offsetting the gas distribution companies’ losses while granting privileges to eligible consumer categories.
