This 2nd of February, a new building was inaugurated at rural settlement Ramon' (the Voronezh Region) which headquartered the telecom Customer Service Center as well as the settlement's telecommunications office and a new telephone exchange of 3000 numbers.

A spacious and comfortable hall to receive visitors was fitted out in the building, where "one-window" complete documents reception principle is followed, as well as up-to-date automated trunk-call office and Internet-salon with full line of advanced services were created. Those interested can avail themselves of conventional telegraphy services or seek consultancy on any related subject, or balance accounts with the office teller for telecommunications services in any mode of payment.

The new automatic telephone exchange made by Iskratel, Slovenian telecommunication equipment manufacturing company, will enable to improve the quality of the user-received services; by virtue of the exchange, the requests of all those on the telephone installation waiting list will be met, and the shared-line subscribers will be provided with individual access lines affixed to index "600". The upgrading of the telecommunications complex envisages the extension of the rural outside plant, replacement of overage rural telephone exchanges and dozens of kilometers of cable, and reconstruction of interoffice trunks.

The head of the Voronezh Region Administration Mr. V.G. Kulakov, head of the Ramon' Subregion Administration Mr. V.I. Astanin, Director of Voronezhsvyazinform, JSC CenterTelecom Affiliate, Mr. A.V. Khaustovich, Ramon' telecommunications specialists, inhabitants of the Ramon' settlement, and journalists took part in the opening ceremony of the Center.
