FESCO purchased 1200 new 40’ high cube containers

FESCO in the frames of enlargement and renewal of container park purchased 1200 new dry 40’ high cube containers for about 5 million dollars.

Container building was surveyed by classification company Germanisher Lloyd.

New containers have already been put into operation and delivered to the customers in the middle of October in ports of Hong Kong and Shanghai. They will be used on foreign trade lines of FESCO, first of all on lines to/from China.

The FESCO container park now is the largest in Russia. Nowadays group of FESCO companies has 45 thousand TEU of container equipment.

FESCO regularly works on enhancement of efficiency of its container park exploitation, which implies enlargement vessel tonnage, opening of new lines of cargo traffic and providing customers with new container equipment corresponding to all international standards.
