In the first quarter of this year, specialists of the IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group) branch – Chuvashenergo repaired the 110/10 kV “Luch” substation, 10 10/0.4 kV reserve transformers, and conducted maintenance repairs of 4 power transformers with a voltage of 110 kV. In addition, the clearing of the transmission lines from trees and shrubs on an area of almost 7.18 hectares was implemented.

In accordance with the schedule, the main planned volume is to be fulfilled by the power engineers in the spring and summer months, during the period of mass repair works. All in all, in 2018, Chuvashenergo branch is planning to repair 2,078.7 km of power lines of all voltage classes, 486 transformer substations of 10/6/0.4 kV and to perform capital repair of 40 substations of 110/35/10/6 kV. It is also planned to clear the transmission lines from trees and shrubs on an area of 586.8 hectares.

 The repair works are focused on ensuring due level of reliability of the electric grid equipment, fault-free power supply of consumers residing on the territory of Chuvash Republic, and on preventing technological disturbances of the electric power plants. The power engineers will proceed to mass repair works in May of the current year.
