Work on pick-up of ownless grids gives positive results

During self-isolation aimed at the non-proliferation of coronavirus infection, electricity consumption in villages adjacent to Russian cities increased by 10–20%, where the problem of ownerless grids is mainly concentrated due to historical circumstances.

For example, despite the fact that over the past week the total energy consumption in the suburbs decreased by almost 5% compared to the same period last year, the load in the villages near Moscow and horticultural non-profit partnerships, on the contrary, increased by more than 10%. In 2019 and since the beginning of 2020, Rosseti Group has taken over 1,200 facilities previously being ownerless for maintenance.

This made it possible to significantly increase the reliability of energy supply and quickly restore networks in case of technological failures. For Rosseti Group, the average time to restore energy supply now does not exceed 1 hour 35 minutes. Remote maintenance services work. At the moment, you can contact the power engineers of the group of companies through the unified portal of power grid services Ïîðòàë-ÒÏ.ðô, as well as the new mobile application “Rosseti – Personal Account”, available to users of Android and IOs devices.

For all users, the online service ÑâåòëàÿÑòðàíà.ðôand hotline phones of subsidiaries of the Rosseti company operate. In connection with the complication of the epidemiological situation, the Rosseti management is considering the possibility of assisting municipalities and local settlements in servicing both ownerless networks and local RNO networks, which are not able to provide reliable power supply due to increased loads. “We regard our contribution to the common cause of the fight against coronavirus as the ability to assist regional authorities, municipalities and settlements in ensuring reliable energy supply to Russian citizens who are forced to isolate themselves during a pandemic,” said Pavel Livinsky, General Director of Rosseti.
