IDGC of Volga, PJSC determined leaders in power losses reduction

Following the results of 2017, IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group) has made a rating on electrical power loss control in electric grids of 0.4-20 kV voltage.

Among the branches Penzaenergo takes the leading position, the second place is occupied by Samara Distribution Grids, the third place is held by Orenburgenergo.

At the level of production departments the best indicators were achieved by Saranskoye PD of Mordovenergo branch. It is followed by Nizhnelomovskoye PD of Penzaenergo. Three leaders also include Ulyanovskoye PD of Ulyanovsk Distribution Grids Branch.

In the power distribution zones, the best results in the losses control were achieved by Morgaushsky PDZ of Chuvashenergo. The indicators of Sursky distribution grids area of Ulyanovsk DG resulted in the second place. The third place is occupied by Bednodemyanovsky PDZ of Penzaenergo branch.

Reduction of losses in the distribution grids of 0.4-20 kV is one of the priority areas of activities of IDGC of Volga, PJSC. The performance indicators achieved are the result of implementation of comprehensive technical measures and work focused on the increase of efficiency in the electric power metering.

Close attention is also paid to the condition of consumers’ power metering devices and to detecting the attempts to make changes in their operation. Joint inspections of power engineers and police officers are practiced. Materials concerning all identified facts of non-contractual and unregistered power consumption are submitted to the law-enforcement authorities.
