Moscow. 11 October 2004. Today, the Chairman of the Management Board of RAO "UES of Russia" Anatoly Chubais took a decision to appoint Maxim Kuznetsov Director General of OAO "WGC-3" and Valery Rodin Director General of OAO "TGC-9".* The nomination of Maxim Kuznetsov and Valery Rodin were unanimously supported by the Management Board of RAO "UES of Russia".

Maxim Kuznetsov was born in the city of Volgograd in 1968. He graduated the Moscow Physics and Technology Institute in 1991. In 1992 to 1998 he worked as Director General of ZAO Evroazmetall International, Moscow. He has been working in the system of RAO "UES of Russia" since 1998—holding the position of Deputy Director General at "Sevzapenergo" and then at "Centerenergo". In 2001 he became Director General of OAO "Volgogradenergo".

Valery Rodin was born in Serov, Sverdlovsk Region in 1952. In 1974, he graduated from Uralsky Polytechnic Institute in Sverdlovsk. In 1974 to 1988, he worked at the Iraklinskaya TPP of REU "Orenburgenergo", where he worked his way up from foreman to the power plant's chief engineer. In 1988 Valery Rodin became the Chief Engineer of TEO "Uralenergo", and in 1992 he headed "Uralenergo" Concern. Since 1994, he has been Director General of OAO "Sverdlovenergo".
