According to the latest information, for the nine months of 2004 179,634 vehicles and autokits were manufactured at JSC GAZ (member of RusPromAvto Holding) assembly lines which is by 25,392 (16.5%) units more than in the year 2003. Volume of production, for the nine months of the current year, in comparable prices with the previous year increased by 17.9% and amounted to 33 billion 895 million 149 thousand rubles.
For the nine months of 2004 164,899 vehicles were assembled: 52,185 passenger cars, 89,899 commercial vehicles and trucks and 22,815 minibuses. Compared to the same period of the previous year, production of GAZ vehicles increased by 18,236 (12.4%) units, including by 12,195 (30.5%) - passenger cars, by 9,950 (12.4%) - commercial vehicles and trucks. Besides, 8,645 vehicles were forwarded to small batch production division of JSC GAZ.
6,090 autokits were supplied by GAZ to assembly automobile plants.
JSC GAZ manufactured spare parts for the amount of 1 billion 974 million 922 thousand rubles. In comparison to 2003, volume of production increased by 39.7% in comparable prices.

In September 2004 20,897 vehicles and autokits were manufactured at GAZ assembly lines which is by 3.0% more compared to September 2003.
20 072 units were assembled: 6,271 - passenger cars, 9,286 - commercial vehicles and trucks and 4,515 minibuses. Compared to the same period of the previous year, production of GAZ vehicles increased by 6.2%, including by 3.0% - passenger cars, by 58.5% - minibuses.
825 autokits were supplied by GAZ to assembly automobile plants.
Spare parts were manufactured for the amount of 259 million 480 thousand rubles. The increase amounted to 61.6%.
